Pretty busy lately. With labwork. And dance practices. Will be performing tomorrow nite at Santubong. Still working hard on the gene expression thing, stress level rising...
Phd proposal not written yet, manuscript draft came back with lots of corrections to be done (entire discussion section to be rewrite), stack of research papers on my bench, which I carry everyday home and school but haven't manage to finish reading even one! etc... gosh, how come everything comes now?

I think i'm slowly beginning to understand what research is. After my master study, and this period of being research assistant. Those experiences, from doing experiments, to writing and reporting, attending lessons, meetings, talks with Dr Ed (the boss), I finally get to understand what it meant by 'research is an ongoing process, seeking and exploring'. yeah, one has to be independent, dare to try, with some curiosity and ability to seek answers to question. 'Passion' is the word! Probably this little feeling that i have now is 'passion'? Like there is warmth in the stomach, mind can't stop thinking how to, the satisfaction when 'the bell rings' and things 'click'. Maybe, maybe not. But it dosen't matter. The persistence to continue the journey until the end is what matters most now. Gambateh!
