I did not have much feeling of celebration this chinese new year. And I also don't know why I am feeling a bit sentimental this chinese new year. Maybe for the reason that Cat will be leaving soon? Or cousin Hong is not celebrating chinese new year with us (it's a bit quiet when i visited grandpa's house on the 1st day)? Or because I am getting older? ......
Cat will be leaving for Singapore next week to seek for her happiness in life. And nana will go back to Australia next month after her one month break. That leaves only YY and me here in Kuching. Even then i feel that YY is kind of 'distant' nowadays, although we actually live quite near to one another. Prolly because she's working and i'm still studying, and topics that we could share are getting lesser. Four of us used to hang out for movies or dinners, but now everyone is having their own life, to hang out together will be more difficult as we are apart. Anyway, we'll always be friends. And thanks for all those nice moments that we've shared.
It seems like it's getting more difficult to maintain friendship as we grow up. Married friends are busy with their families, those working are busy with their career. And it seems even harder to make new friends at such age. I feel grateful that I still have those from KbsTeens. But sooner or later they will be leaving for their study, career or building their own families too. Sigh.
And so we always can rely on our family. Dad and mum, brother antz and sister horsey. Although one day, we have to say goodbye to one another and meet in another world, but at least for now, I have you all with me, and i'm thankful for that.
