Lulu and HG watched 3 movies in a weeks' time, 10,000 BC, 27 dresses and Horton Hears a Who. Turn out that the one with least expectation 'Horton' is the best to watch.
The two of them went into the cineplex hall 4 and discovered kids being the majority. It's a Monday night, how come so many parents brought their children for movie? (HG and Lulu went earlier on saturday afternoon but the tickets were sold out.) Anyway, Lulu expected that the movie must be a kids' kind (the they live happily ever after kind) which turned out to be true, but then the movie offered more. Not only Lulu enjoyed laughing with the kids (as she herself is a child at heart), there were more that the story tried to tell. It somehow made Lulu think about herself and the world, and the movie is kinda trying to reflect what is actually happening around us in current world. (We are really small in this cosmo, and to stand firm even when nobody believe in the truth). Lulu rated it 4 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended.
Plot Summary:
One day, Horton the elephant hears a cry from help coming from a speck of dust. Even though he can't see anyone on the speck, he decides to help it. As it turns out, the speck of dust is home to the Whos, who live in their city of Whoville. Horton agrees to help protect the Whos and their home, but this gives him nothing but torment from his neighbors, who refuse to believe that anything could survive on the speck. Still, Horton stands by the motto that, "After all, a person is a person, no matter how small."
