We had the annual spring cleaning last friday, first thing to clean the lab, secondly to rearrange the sections. After cleaning, we all felt so happy coz the lab looks much more organised, and I could feel a sense of belonging to the lab. Members from other labs who passed by even told our lab that how they hoped they have spring cleaning for their lab too. Well, they can too, just they need to take the initiative. Like our case, we had the lab plan drawn out, how to arrange, and then we told Dr Ed. that we were gonna have it on the proposed date. We even discussed and came out with a set of rules and regulations for our lab (Dr Ed has approved on it and even gives the postgrads more authority in lab).
Here's our lab:
The white board used to be at the back of the lab, and only one side was being used. Now we move it to the front, one side is for announcements, one side is for research related articles or activities in lab.
The washing and drying section is moved to the front. We also have proper labeling for all the sections.
Tidy and organised right?
