One down

Following the 'gel doc imaging settings being adjusted' incident, this morning while I was casting my gel, labmate Chia came into the lab saying 'Gong Xi Fa Cai' to me. Guess what? The autoclave machine in the common prep room has broken down. Now this is really G.R.E.A.T!! I wonder what next? PCR machine? Gel Doc broke down totally? It's not that we want to point our fingers at undergrads, but everything is okay- until they start labbing. Fine, the machine broke down. Now I have to start praying that the gel doc wouldn't follow its fate. If not, repairing the gel doc itself will take months and my work will definitely be affected. (T_T)
