We took some salmon, deep fried prawn, prawn nigiri (RM5-6 during normal period). We waited and waited for Unagi but there was none on the belt. Because our seats are not located at the strategic place, we get all those plates of sushi that people don't want (the good ones were grabbed before they reached us on the conveyor belt). So we decided to take action by going to the 'origin of the conveyor belt'- where the chef's start to put them on the belt to get sushi that we wanted (幸福要自己争取). Still, we only managed to have 1 plate of Unagi nigiri. Frankly speaking, I think this time they serve limited choice of sushi on the conveyor belt. I don't get to eat any california maki. They are more strict this time too. They limit 45 minutes of dining time per entry, and we were told that 'you shouldn't leave any sushi rice on the plates'. (But good, cause then we won't waste food)
Hmmm, with braces on, I really can't eat much. Nigiri is still ok for me, but for maki and gunkan sushi, I need to break them down into smaller bits. Deep fried prawns, seaweeds are real challenge for me. So I ended up eating salmon or fish mainly. No octopus, no jellyfish, no taufu skin nigiri... Have to eat slowly, small small bites, and rice keep sticking to my teeth and braces some more, really challenging.
After we finished eating around 6.15pm, the queue looks like the above. We register for membership next year for RM20 and got a 2009 calendar, RM20 coupon for use next year, and a set of chopsticks + spoon.
