I went to ZP last night for my regular appointment. He discovered that there are some unwanted movements of my canines. They are somehow disorientated. I was given two choices, one is to pull my canine teeth close to my premolars then close up the gaps between my incisors and canines; the other is to move the canines close to my incisors and slowly adjust them to close up the gaps between the canines and premolars. I opted the second one although it is slower and will take more time. The first choice is easier for ZP but it will leave me big gaps between my canines and incisors for 5-6 months, meaning you'll see only 4 teeth up and 4 down everytime I smile. Imagine that!!!
Anyway, ZP did all the necessary steps to correct the unwanted movements. 'Accessories' were added. Now, the wires are thicker too. And finally the lower right lateral incisor can be engaged to the wire for leveling. Phew! The pain? I could just tell you that I couldn't have a sound sleep last night. I 'm getting back to ZP this afternoon again to finish up some work left behind yesterday (It took too long, and patients were waiting). I'll show you guys the pic of my latest update when ready. Stay tune!
