Jambu serves Spanish-western cuisine. Lulu went with the brain filled with list of Tapas to try out (I did a bit research on Spain cuisine before going there as never tried any Spanish food). But too bad we ended up having only mains. We had this coupon from My Privilege book, and you get buy 1 free 1 meal. The waitress told us if we ordered 2 mains, and tapas, then they would automatically count the cheapest dish as free. So lulu gave up the tapas. Imagine, main dish costs RM30 and a tapas dish only RM6, my maths is not too bad to come out with a right decision. Just that I couldn't understand their policy. If buy 1 free 1, and they count our 2nd main dish as free, they will earn more cause we will definitely order tapas. (Do they not understand the difference between 'RM34+RM6+others' and 'RM34 only'?)
HG's choice. 70% done lamb cutlet. RM34. The lamb cutlets are either roasted or barbecued (I'm not sure) and have this nice charcoal smell. The sauce tastes rich, but maybe a bit too salty (according to HG). The accompanying eggplant slices tastes good with the sauce.
Lulu ordered Chicken Fajitas. Rm30. Marinated Cajun chicken wrapped up in tortilla.
Lulu basically used her hands to eat this dish. The chicken texture is tender and marinated nicely. Yummy!
Lulu will definitely come back to try the Tapas. And mussels, and Nachos....Till then, need to wait patiently. Hehe.
Jambu Restaurant/ Tapas Bar operates from Tuesday to Sunday, lunch and dinner. And if not mistaken, it is Halal.
