I was having phone chat with Sis horsey last night. She was grumbling about her life as a chambering student overseas (over South China Sea). She complained about how she was told to do all the secretarial work like photocopy etc instead of doing her legal stuffs, being 'advised' to be more polite (for not knowing how to socialise and greet people). The funniest part is that she got scolded by the manager for the way she sits. I knew she just wanted to let those out to somebody but I couldn't help giving her advice on how to look at life or things.
"You see, maybe they are trying to train you, instead of bullying you" said I.
"Ai, next time when you start working then you'll know. Working is different." replied Horsey casually.
When you start working then you'll know. It's really amusing when I heard this from her. It has always been me telling her about things, as I am older (does older = wiser? haha). Now she talks to me in a way like she is more experienced (which is true), it feels very odd. My younger sis is working, earning money and here I am, still studying, age close to 30, having no experience in any serious job (not even any job interview). Ha!
I guess that's what life is all about. You choose your path and you walk your own way. You might complain a bit here and there, fall down at times, but if you are clear about where you are heading and the reason of it, keep going. Just do it!
