Treats or Tricks

I bought these for Niki when I received my 'salary' this month. It's not the first time I bought those stuffs for Niki. I used to buy her dental stick (the green one) to keep her teeth clean and the canned dog food is to add nutrition to her daily diet. This month I bought her some carrot sticks and salmon strips as treats. I'm trying to train her to obey my instructions (I hope it's not too late since she is not a puppy anymore). For the past 2 days, I've been trying to command her to 'zuo' (which means sit down in chinese). She's so excited everytime she smells the carrot sticks and will start scratching my hands and legs (to reach the sticks in my hands). Although now she's being 'forced' to sit down for the sticks (only when she sits, she gets to eat), I will work hard to train her until she sits once she hear me saying " Niki, 坐!"
