Our Honeymoon Trip

We went to Hong Kong-Shen Zhen-Macau for our honeymoon. It was basically a 7 day 6 nights trip. We spent 3 nights in HK, 2 nights in SZ and a night at Macau. It's a memorable trip because it's our first trip together, for ourselves and by ourselves. It's suppose to be a free and easy trip but according to HG's comment, the itinery planned turned out to be rather 'compact' and 'physically challenging'. Man, we had to admit that we are no longer young!

Hong Kong is a heaven for shopping but since both of us don't really enjoy shopping much (and that we have not much $$$ to shop too), our trip focused mainly on sightseeing and food. Yeap, I guess my waist line increased by at least 2 inches, despite having to walk most of the time. Anyhow, I still bought myself these from Hong Kong:the book is from Chi Lian Monastery whereas the bag is from Temple Street (庙街). HG bought a magnet with Disney's princesses to be put onto our fridge, and 2 alarm clocks from Temple Street. We also got ourselves this from Hong Konga porcelain Amitabha Buddha statue from Lantau Island. HG carried the statue all the way from HK to SZ then to Macau and back home. We were actually looking for a Buddha statue for our prayer corner in the house but did not expect to buy one during our honeymoon trip. Yet, it came to us. We saw it and we both like it, and the price is affordable, so we decided to bring it home.

By the way, talking about walking around, we really walked a lot during the trip. This is how our new shoes looked like after a week's walking...HG's were dramatically torn at the soles Mine Hush Puppies was left with only 'sh' Puppies. Haha.

Till then, stay tuned for details of the trip.
