Lulu and HG went to a gathering at HG's high school friend's new house on 1st night of Gawai. It all started when we were having dinner. I felt an itch on my left arm but it looked like a mosquito bite, so I scratched a bit then just ignored it. Lulu went to bed as usual that night. Then I was awaken half way in the middle of the night. I felt both arms rather itchy around the elbows, so I woke up and got a tube of 'Mopiko' and went to the washroom to turn on the light so that I could apply it onto my skin. It looked like this. First thought you'll think that it must be mosquito bite. But closer look, you'll see something bumpy like this: It raised my suspicious that they are not mosquitoes bites. So I inspected the other parts of my body and found some red patches here and there, especially near the joints.
Those red patches were actually big bumps but due to low resolution of my handphone camera, I couldn't capture a good one to show you. But the weird thing is, it seemed to happen only during the night. Yesterday morning, I only got the bumpy things on my knees and slowly they faded. So I thought my immune system somehow manage to win the battle. Who knows last night after I got back from friend's wedding, I found my back pretty itchy again. And this was last night's. My arms and legs were so itchy accompanied with hot burning feeling on the surface of the skin. I tried to breathe mindfully, or to chant mantra to get my focus of the itchiness but just couldn't help it. So I was 'forced' to take an allergy pill (the pill is from HG's previous visit to a doctor due to nose allergy, I know I'm not supposed to do this but... it's really ITCHY!)
I told myself I'll go see a doctor the first thing this morning but who knows there's nothing on my skin anymore. No bumps, no red patches, no itchiness... Is this allergy or what? Can anyone tell?
