In reply to my recent progress updates, my boss replied this:
FYI, your PhD duration ends only when you have secured the degree. It is only your scholarship that will end in Jan next year. However, as you have rightly implied, there is not much time left. For you to complete at least 70% of what you would require for a PhD level, you will need to manage your time well from now on. Focus is required.
Rather than wasting my time feeling stressful due to time constraints, I should really focus on how to conduct experiments and generate solid data. And I have had enough of this 'gloomy, not getting anywhere and not producing anything' kind of situation! I need to get out of the mud and get going!
Now it all get back to myself and it's a matter of determination. How determined am I to finish it!!!
