Yeah, I know it's a little too early for Christmas song but can't help it as boss came in lab yesterday afternoon asking for workbench to occupy. He said he's gonna come in lab to do labwork on and off during the weekdays when he doesn't have to lecture.My boss in lab? Doing labwork? I hardly imagine how our lab life will be with our boss in lab??

It feels a little awkward but not that I never get to experience it. Actually boss used to come in lab 2-3 times per day many years back. And I ever saw him doing benchwork in his labcoat when we were in the old campus. But again, that was long time ago. Not after we moved to new campus and he became head of department. Anyway he had finished his serve as head of department last semester and is not on heavy lecturing duty this semester, I guess it's 'normal' for him to work in the lab as an academician@researcher
