I was listening to the radio last night. The DJ shared a very meaningful old advertisement by Yasmin Ahmad. It was filmed for year 1996 'Gongxi Raya', when we celebrated Chinese New Year and Hari Raya together. After being independent for 53 years, and after so many chaos that happened lately, maybe it's good to look back at this and be reminded that we are never too apart. "Kalau berdepan dengan cabangan, pilihlah kasih sayang." (If we are to face crossroads in life, choose love for the path.) This is the message by Yasmin in all her pieces.
