I seem to notice that a lot of my friends or people that I know got married this year.
Is this happening because: 

1. I've arrived at the age range in which majority of the population got married? (Mean age of getting married=25 yrs old, 95% CI=21, 31 years old?)
2. I'm myself married that's why I pay more attention to who and who get married kind of issue?

p/s: Please forgive a bored scientist's bad joke. I have been spending few days sitting in front of the computer doing statistical analysis, and after I read this PhD comic, can't stop the madness.
