A fun gathering

We had a BBQ gathering last night with friends from KBS Youth. It was an enjoyable meet up as we get to meet our old friend Wan Nee, and we get together not for the sake of organising activities but solely for food, chat and game. We only played a game the entire night but we roared the house.

Bro Siang just got back from the States. He managed to pay a visit to Universal Studio and brought back some interesting stuffs for us to try out.

Bertie's every flavour beans. I tried the Ear wax, watermelon, marshmallow, pepper and others that I don't know the name. The watermelon (the dark green) and the pepper tasted bad. The earwax actually tasted okay. The blue one was quite nice but I didn't know what flavour it is.

The pumpkin juice. To be honest, I wasn't really fond of the taste. It's a mix of sweet and sour. To be honest, I don't know how to describe the taste it in words. However, this experience wouldn't frighten me! I'll certainly get a sip of butterbeer and fire whiskey if I get to land my feet at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studio one day!

The chocolate frog. I wanna give the frog a bite and Siang was generous enough to share but then I realised it's the only one that he bought (as each costs USD10!), so I did not 'proceed'. Anyhow, I agreed with what Wan Nee said, we imagined the frog to be smaller and not as big. It's about or perhaps bigger than my palm. Siang got a Helga Hufflepuff for the collectible card.

And, I was waiting anxiously for my gift since he got back. How I knew I would be getting something? Well, he asked me before he left for the states months ago who is my favourite character in Harry Potter, and I was aware of his plan to visit Harry Potter world. Although I had no idea what he would get me, but I just knew he would get me something. Alas...he got me this---->

Yes, the Elder wand! Professor Dumbledoore's wand. Siang got himself Harry Potter's wand and his own birthday wand, Snape's wand for Wan Nee and another wand for Alysson (but I'm not sure what it is). Expelliarmus! (For a list of spells in Harry Potter, please click here.)
