Jan - welcome to my 5th year of PhD

Jan - attended meditation lessons

Feb - quilling session at Popular Bookstore

Feb - watched Cloud Gate's The Song of Wanderers performance at Istana Budaya with Ringo and Horsey

March - for the first time watched my grandpa acting. He has been acting for Hokkien Opera for his entire life (as a hobbyist).

April - for a cleaner election system @Kuching

April - went visiting Siniawan old streets with members of KBS Youth Section

May - Wesak celebration

May - went to a cartoonist autobiography session with my best pal Nana, although both of us are no longer teenagers

June - involved in YBAM 21st AGM

June - attended Dharma Class by Bro Choon Tat

June - performed on our dance mate A Ley's wedding reception

Aug - organised picture book workshop

Sept - flew to Mukah on Twin Otter to attend university old friend Eddie's wedding

Sept onwards - reorganising Children Section of Manjushiri Library. Was assigned as chairperson of temple's library committee effective April this year.

Sept - my article on part of my PhD work finally got accepted, after several rejections, and corrections since few years back

Oct - my labmate Wen Ni's convocation. Now I'm the only postgrad left in lab

Oct - still in lab although initially planned to start thesis writing

Oct - taken at Hanoi National museum. Went with hubby for a 10-day vacation, in the midst of my research.

Oct - first time in my life, went kayaking, in Halong Bay, Vietnam

Oct - watched Princess Wen Cheng Musical at Istana Budaya - awesome!

Oct onwards - resume dancing, after stopping since February to focus on labwork

Nov - first time became witness for friend's ROM. The couple are both members of our reading club, their love story starts from our reading club too, so as the initiators of the reading club, we got to be their witnesses.

Nov - first time joining a craft bazaar

Dec - attended a story-telling workshop by the English storyteller Cassandra @Pustaka Negeri Sarawak

Dec - received a BIG gift from HG for my birthday

I'm still in grad school
