Good Phd:
One of my coursemate in UTM who continues his phd study in Australia has just submitted his thesis. And he has already gotten himself a postdoc position in USA, at the age of 27. Bright future awaiting, plus he is YOUNG.
Another friend of mine also doing her phd in Aussie, has produced 4 papers in 2 years of phd study, and she is now into her writing (after only 2 years of study).
Another best friend of mine doing her phd in US, into her third year of study, speaks of her research with passion. And the confidence in her voice on the knowledge of her research field. Good planning on her work, with clear picture of what she's goin to do next.
Unqualified phd:
And where do I stand? having not focussing enough on my research, not reading enough, and not knowing my subject matters well, not getting the bigger picture of the research trend in my field?
I'm doomed.

A lot of ppl told me dun compare with other phd students!! Dun compare dun compare!! However, I think u and I belong to the same group that need someone to motivate us, to show us how lazy we are :P
