However, we still needed to be ready because the organising committee that invited us to perform on their function said that once the electricity supply came back, they would continue their function. And so, in dim light from the candles, we get ourselves ready.
I was trying real hard to draw lines of my eyes. If this is considered 'memorable', then to make the night even more 'unforgettable' is that we ended up going to the wrong place for performance. We realised that only when we arrived at the church to find out that it was someone else's wedding dinner. Our teacher had somehow mis-communicated with the organising committee. So, instead of the church, we rushed down to Crown Square. We waited and waited for the electricity supply. And finally we managed to perform our first dance at about 10pm. And when I completed my last dance, it was 11 plus.
Taking the time to have a snapshot with these little Hindu dancers backstage while waiting for the speech delivery.
Posting with Jai Chee and Sze Yu at backstage.
It was 'SPECIAL' indeed. Makeup in darkness + went to the wrong venue + late night performance. What a night!
