Big BANG

What's the hottest news in scientific community now? ---> BIG BANG!

Actually I was flipping through the newspaper today when suddenly the word 'BIG BANG EXPERIMENT SUCCESSFUL' captured my attention. Although the 'Big Bang' theory is a particle physics thing, it has something to do with the origin of life on earth (i think i learnt in somewhere in my first year biology???), and thus it attracted me to read further.

To say it in short, scientists have managed to make something that mimics the 'Big Bang' to happen. And this might help us to understand better questions like 'where does matter come from', 'how does life begin', and 'who are we'?
