There's not much to report on my braces lately until my recent visit to ZP. I thought it would be like my routine visits as usual- just changing of O-rings. Turned out to be
Well, ZP noticed that my incisors seemed not to be 'touching' one another nicely, leaving little gaps in between the teeth around the roots. According to him, the contact points of the incisors are not perfect. The reason could be that although my teeth have moved, my gums are not 'growing' accordingly to fill up the space between my teeth (My gums are aging too, haha). So he decided to do 'interdental stripping' for my incisors. In layman's words it means to sort of trim the enamel part of my teeth (so that they become smaller) for better surface contact so that the 'little' gaps can be closed. Basically the process is similar to cutting wood. You cut the wood into your intended shape using an electrical saw, then smoothing the surface with sandpaper. That's exactly what happened to my teeth. After the stripping, there are two visible gaps between my incisors (as indicated by red arrows) which will later be 'forced' to close up using power chain attached to my front incisors.

From your latest photo at the beach, you looked quite normal already although losing so much weight.
