Sunday Afternoon Scribbles

It's a Sunday afternoon and I'm sitting in front of my study desk. The weather is as dull as usual. I'm trying to read a few papers this afternoon but am fighting hard to get the sleeping bug out of me. (T_T)
Experiments keep on 'challenging' me mentally, especially under such stressed situation where my deadline is approaching. Ya, I know it's research, which means re-search. But to be honest, this kind of self-motivation sometimes is not as REAL as 'data' or 'results'.
Went to watch Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince yesterday. Nothing really exciting but quite funny though (especially Ron's love life). Just need to settle with it cause I shouldn't expect a few hundred pages content to be squeezed into a two and half hour movie. (Go read the book!)
I realise that I'm not as good as I used to be in dancing. Slower response and bad in memory. Is it due to the fact that I'm getting older? Or is it that my focus has changes? Try doing the 'splits' (一字马,横叉) just to realise that I could only open my legs apart not more than 90 degrees. Only 'sudut tegak' and not 'sudut cakah'. Sob sob.
Well, something uplifting is that I cut my hair last week to improve my new look and it's working alright (at least am getting some positive comments from people). I missed my straight hair which I could wake up late in the morning and just tied it up (instead of having to wet my hair, apply mousse to maintain the curls etc). I guess lazy girl like me should always opt for straight hair which needs less attention.
