Excursion

It has been a year and 2 months since I'm on braces. Now, my teeth are more or less in position except for some adjustments here and there to correct my bite. I have been wearing the reverse curve wires since last month. ZP decided to 'pull' my teeth out a bit from my gums (excursion) so that it looks nicer when I smile. According to him, I may be a little too 'gummy', that's why my teeth look very small as some crown part of my teeth are hidden inside my gums. When I laugh, you actually see more of my gums than my teeth. As a result of wearing this wire, my teeth grows 1mm longer in a month. You may think 1mm is not much, but I really can see the difference. (Of course, I observe my teeth progress okay?)
