Mitch Albom

Finally I got his latest book 'Have a little faith'. Although I wish to have the original English version, the price is just a little too expensive for me (not in my budget), so I opted for the translated Chinese version which is much cheaper (there's some struggling there cause I prefer reading in the ori language except when the language is foreign to me). I also bought 'For one more day'. The price has dropped down about 50% after his latest release.
I first read his book years back. I was hanging around in bookstore as usual and came across 'the five people I meet in heaven' (Chinese version) at the religious and philosophical books section. The title grabbed my attention and after going through the synopsis I brought the book home. Since then I've fallen in love with his work. I had shared and persuaded my close friends who read, Imelda and Siang to buy his books too.
I used to think that Mitch is a Christian until Wen Cheng (another book worm friend who's also Mitch's fans) told me that he's actually a Jewish. Regardless what religion he is, I discovered dharma and meaning about life in his previous 2 titles. 'The five people I meet in heaven' made me re-think how we connect to others. Our words, deeds and thoughts do affect one another without us realising. 'Tuesdays with Morrie' inspired me to seek deeper into myself on what are the values and things that matter the most in life. I look forward to reading the latest 2 books that I bought.
