Major: Excellent! We can attack in any direction.
It's your attitude and not aptitude that determines your altitude.
My emotion was a bit 'agitated' yesterday when I was told that I need to learn another new technique that I know nothing about (which means I have to start from scratch). My immediate reaction was to groan and complain as this means more work in addition to my current already heavy workload. I have little time left and I'm not sure how time consuming the new technique is. But on a second thought, after I cooled down few minutes later, I asked myself what's the initial intention of me doing a PhD? Ok, to learn. If that's the case, why am I not happy when I'm given the chance to learn something new? Is it because I'm too carried away with the time factor? Or the financial issue? Once I reflected upon myself my initial intention and accepted the task willingly, I felt less pressured as now I'm doing it in active form rather than being 'forced' to.
p/s: To be honest, money is really a big issue! Haha.
