Italiana

Lulu went to an Italian restaurant last night, with her fellow friends, to celebrate Chia's birthday. Chia is a postgrad in I-HMGL.

This is the restaurant

Looks simple?Don't be deceived by its simple look!

It is the FOOD that matters!
It offers a wide range of choices of pasta, pizza, lasagna, risotto. There are also a list of appetizers, desserts, or meat/fish to select from. One good thing is that the food here is 100% Halal! So, you can bring your muslim friends here.

Ok, let's kick off with the drinks!
Tempted? Here comes the food...

Lasagne Pollo - sheets of pasta with meat, cheese, tomatoes, to give you the cheesy, creamy and sweet sour taste. Sold at RM 16.80.

Spaghetti Aclio Pollo - spaghetti cooked in sauce using herbs as ingredients, served with a large piece of deep fried chicken breast. RM 17.80

Fettucine Ailfredo - flat pasta cooked in creamy sauce, with permeesan cheese, turkey ham and mushrooms. The taste? Cheesy, creamy. Cheese lovers will crave for it. RM 17.80

Spaghetti Stuffato - seafood spaghetti cooked with chillies, spices and herbs. If you like prawns, big mussels, squid, and spiciness, go for this 'mee goreng' kind of pasta. RM 17.80

Don't like pasta? Then order this, Risotto Pollo. Rice cooked with herbs and slices of chicken. The rice is soft, smells of nice pepper, you'll love it. RM 13.80.

Well, if you are thinking of pizza, try this common one, Pizza Hawaiian Chicken. Different from the fast food kind of pizza, the pizza crust is thinner, harder, which is the typical Italian kind of pizza crust. Cheesy, sweet sour taste of pineapple and chicken available at RM 16.80.

Or you can try the Salmone Pizza. Instead of chicken, smoked salmon slices and tuna are used as the toppings. Yummy! RM 25.80.

An Italian meal cannot be 'complete' without the Tiramisu. The cake texture is soft, with cocco powder on top. Not too creamy, just nice for dessert. RM 6.80 (Although Lulu and friend got this for free. Hehe. Initially the cashier forgot to include this in their bill. Then Lulu realised and went to the cashier to inform the owner, he said nevermind. Said it's a treat for the birthday girl. So sweet!)

Nice food at reasonable price, quiet environment (not sure why not much people come cause it's really a nice restaurant), 'A' class restaurant (meaning the hygience is A class), helpful and pretty waitress, what are you waiting for???

Bella Italia, RH Plaza, Ground Floor, Block 16, No 111, Jln Lapangan Terbang No 1. Near 'A Tou Seafood'. Quite hidden if you don't take notice. Look for the green light of the restau

p/s: Oh ya, you wouldn't believe if I tell you the chef is not an Italian but a Bosnian. Cause the food really tastes 'Italian'. Lulu's guess is the owner is also Bosnian, though he looks like 'ang moh'. Because on the business card, the name 'Mesud' doesn't sound like an Italian name.
